The liver is really delicious. Both sashimi and skewers are exquisite.
[Store overview]
A yakitori restaurant near Tokyo Daijingu Shrine.
Fresh local chicken is carefully grilled using Kishu Binchotan charcoal, which brings out the best quality of the ingredients.
[Menu]
・Reba sashimi 950 yen (tax included)
It melts the moment you put it in your mouth...
Recommended because the quantity is large.
It was also great that the grated garlic was fresh rather than in a tube.
・Appetizer
Pickles and grated radish. I'm happy to ride it as much as I want.
・Bottled beer 770 yen (tax included)
Black Label Nanoha won.
・Hatsusashi 950 yen (tax included)
It is delicious with just the right amount of fat. The chewy and elastic texture is pleasant.
・Satataki 1,500 yen (tax included)
A masterpiece packed with flavor.
・Tomino Takarazan 720 yen (tax included)
A refreshing potato shochu that does not interfere with the flavor of chicken.
・Yakitori 6-piece set 2,000 yen (tax included)
The set includes the following fillets and liver.
・Chicken fillet 380 yen (tax included)
The doneness is rare.
・Thigh meat (red chicken) 420 yen (tax included)
Although it has a chewy texture, it is not too hard and you can feel the flavor and richness.
・Gizzard 350 yen (tax included)
・Hoken 890 yen (tax included)
Dry sake recommended by the shop staff.
・Dango 420 yen (tax included)
The gentle flavor of the fat...it's not too hot, so you can enjoy the meat juices to your heart's content.
・Bonjiri 380 yen (tax included)
A large bonjiri with a thin skin. This is my first time eating something this big.
It's delicious without being greasy.
・Lever 390 yen (tax included)
This is exquisite. It's insanely delicious.
It makes sense that some people come for the liver.
・Nankotsu 400 yen (tax included)
I ordered 4 additional skewers.
・Tsuneyama 890 yen (tax included)
Easy to drink, just like water. A clean and dry look that I was looking for.
・Seseri 400 yen (tax included)
The rich fat flavor overflows from the elastic texture.
・Hatsu 350 yen (tax included)
・Leather 370 yen (tax included)
Crispy. The aroma goes well with sake...

It has a nice atmosphere, tucked away in Kudanshita. It's a small box with a few counter seats and two tables, but that's a good thing.
I've been to a lot of yakitori restaurants, but when it comes to yakitori, Wakaba never fails.
The chicken sashimi is also really good, and I'm a big fan of the liver. If you mix it with cold sake, you won't be able to stop drinking it, and you'll always end up drunk.
The father is a bit scary, but when you talk to him, he's kind, and sometimes he offers sake that isn't on the menu. I recommend going with a small group and getting to know your parents.

This is an elegant yakitori restaurant. The prices are a bit high compared to cheap chain restaurants, but I think you'll understand once you try it.
There is a price menu at the entrance, so you can enter with confidence.
The charcoal seems to be Kishu Bincho charcoal.
Vegetables and coarsely ground daikon radish are served as an accompaniment.
For yakitori, I ordered a 6-piece course, which consisted of wasabi fillet, chicken meat, sand zuri, dango, heart, and liver. All of the pieces were cooked to a slightly raw texture, probably due to their freshness, and the texture was fluffy, and the soup was delicious. I ate some extra celery. They bake each one at the right time.
We also have Japanese sake.
