Small, but friendly place. No English menu, but they do have several course menus. We had the 3500 yen course, which was a feast! Delicious range of sake, too. Basic Japanese phrases would be helpful, as the English ability of the staff is limited.

A friendly, relaxing izakaya that serves excellent food along with great sake. The house special beef tendon stew is to die for. Despite the language barrier, everyone working there is friendly and try their best to communicate. Definitely recommendable!

I was alone and I couldn't speak Japanese but it was not a problem at all. Chef was so friendly and kind, and he recommended me Sake which was so good. Sashimi and tempura were the best i ever had. Best experience in Kanazawa!
