This is a really tasty local restaurant. Especially the fried dumpling & ra-men (noodle). The host is really cute person.

A set meal restaurant located quite deep in Yugawara (the address was Atami...). I visited here because I read that the katsudon is the most delicious in the world. The location of the store is difficult to find, and even when you walk in front of it, the noren curtains are really worn out, and at first glance it looks like it's in ruins. Empty store? That's what I think.
It's a small shop with 6 seats at the counter (actually only 4 people can use it?) and 1 tatami room, run by an elderly man. Is it okay here? That's what I thought, but it turned out okay lol
I ordered the 1,000 yen katsudon, and it started with the frying of the cutlet, and even the meat inside was piping hot. The soup stock is sweet, the soup is less, and everything except the cutlet is seasoned with onions and eggs. It was not a so-called loin cutlet, but a tender cutlet with a tender taste similar to fillet meat. I didn't think it was the best in the world, but it turned out to be a very delicious and satisfying lunch. The menu is extensive, and you'll want to try a variety of things.
The only thing to worry about is hygiene, and it may be difficult in many ways for people with hygiene habits, but it is definitely a restaurant you should try at least once. There was also a parking space for one car diagonally across from the store. Thank you for your meal.

I used it for lunch on a Sunday when it was raining on and off.
Arrived 30 minutes before opening. Around 10:50, I saw an old man inside the store beckoning me to come in, so I entered the store.
The katsudon here is said to be the best in Japan, and the chushu wonton noodles were highly recommended by a regular customer from overseas who was also lining up with them, so I ordered both. And both were absolutely delicious. In particular, the cutlet in the katsudon was soft and juicy, and the rich sweetness matched the outstanding seasoning so well that I finished it in no time. The wonton noodles are also irresistible with their melty char siew and gentle flavor of the soup. It will warm your cold body while you wait.
Also, the old man who was working hard on his own was very kind, and the food, combined with the homely atmosphere inside the restaurant, made me feel very warm.
This is a shop that you will want to visit every time you come to Yugawara. It was a feast.

We arrived at 10:35 today, before they opened at 11:00. Two previous customers. It was cold and windy, but we did our best and lined up.
By the time it opened, there was a line of more than 10 people.
When I entered the store, there were 6 people sitting at the counter.
I ordered the top katsudon for my first purpose. Since it's a restaurant I don't often come to, I also order ramen.
Fillet cutlet katsudon, tender meat.
The seasoning is also strong.
It was delicious.
The ramen 🍜 was also made by Murofushi Seimen and was delicious. The soup was also mild and delicious.
Thank you for the meal♪
