Wine＠ebisu Review Summary

I actually wanted to visit on the day of the blind tasting, but unfortunately my schedule did not allow it. This time, I had dinner with a wine-loving friend who used to live in Europe.
We chose the one hour free flow of sparkling wine (¥3300).
It was fun to compare wines and have a conversation with the sommelier.
The food is also delicious.
This is a store that is not yet well known.
so people were relaxing and enjoying their conversation

Maybe not the ideal spot for our foreign population or many visitors to Ebisu. It was far too technical to get started; I wanted to get in and get a drink right away but had to go through the “get this QR code”, “learn this app”, “read this tech manual” song and dance just to get a drop of booze on my lips and the frustration grew by the minute.

The pour was also a bit miserly, I’m afraid. The tech was kinda cool, the place was clean with a nice view, but I’d rather just go somewhere I could get a fifth of a bottle at a time and get started immediately (how’s that for an innovation?).

Please don’t hate my uncultured palate for leaving the sole negative review here; however I assure you I’m a critical thinker and not just a stone-thrower. Maybe hardcore wine people will like the ability to have a few tastes of many bottles readily available .

This place is awesome. 1500 yen to taste seven wines. You can also buy a bottle in store and drink it
