What is a lively street packed with Girls Bars and drinking establishments during the night, this area is eerily quiet and empty during the day.
Despite this, there are several restaurants trickled throughout that are open for service during lunch - Yakiniku K being one of them.
Although their lunch menu consists of only 4 choices, the quality of food is almost unsurpassed. The steak set includes with rice, salad, pickles, soup, and tofu, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The meat (I believe Sendai Wagyu) is prepared beautifully by the chefs and is an absolute treat for the palate.
From 800 yen, its hard to find comparable meals during lunch that can match this quality.
Also, be sure to arrive early (before 12), as the dishes are limited in number and sell out pretty quickly.

The manager is a very personable person and will tell you about the doneness of the meat from the counter.
The photo shows three types of beef tongue, and even the thick slices are so soft that you can easily cut them with your teeth.
The pineapple sauce, Japanese peppercorns, and seasoning are all unique and delicious.
Also, the kimchi is not too spicy and is perfect for resting your chopsticks.

I was surprised at how sweet the liver was.
I also ate the special tongue salt with a sour taste like pineapple extract, but it was delicious and different from the lemon.
The store owner's attentiveness (I was impressed by how quickly he opened the door for me when I was leaving) and the female clerk's kind customer service were all excellent.
I will go again. Thank you!

I think it's a 12,000 yen course. It's a little expensive to go on your own, but it's really delicious.
And the sour drinks were also delicious.
I want to go again lol
