This place is clearly well established, interior needs a bit of a refresh to keep up with the quality of the food. The flavour of the harami, kalbi, and rosu were amazing but the beef tongue was the show stopper - I still don’t understand how they’re able to retain soft buttery texture in such a thick cut of meat. Beef tongue is typically sliced thin to compensate for chewy texture, but we got a one inch thick cut that was unreal in both flavour and tenderness. Another grand slam was the green onion ponzu kalbi, solid 10/10.

The meat was delicious and the BBQ was clean and hot - what wasn't great was the service. They insisted that a drink purchase was required, even though the locals nearby had water, and they tried to bring us otoshi (compulsory appetizer), but we refused it because no one else had been served one. If looks could kill, we'd be dead, because the hostess was staring daggers at us the rest of the meal. I'm pretty sure we were shorted meat on our order as a result, because we got an uneven number of pieces for an even number of orders.
If you're a tourist or visitor, beware, because they will 100% try to take advantage of you. If you're willing to sidestep that, however, the food is excellent (albeit quite expensive).

One of the best yakiniku experience. The lady at the shop is very nice. High quality beef and umami hormone. Reservation for table and thick tongue is required. A

Great quality of meat, very tender and thinly sliced. Each dish has a different seasoning. Food was awesome. Only disappointment was the staffs hurry you to vacant the table. They take away dishes (and even charcoal grill you used for Yakiniku!) as soon as you finish eating. They disturb you to take away dishes while you are clearly in the middle of important conversation with friends. For this quality of food and price standard, I expected it to be a better and cozy place.

The premium tongue cuts here are the best I've tried in Japan. Well worth preordering.
