Yakitori Shira Review Summary

Very authentic yakitori place (most people who visited are locals). Upon entry you'll be asked to order a set (which comprised of 8-9 skewers) and if not enough you could add on afterwards. I'd prefer an a la carte order since most of the skewers in the set are quite meaty (whilst we enjoy the organs more). And oh yes they do serve semi-raw chicken so don't bother coming if this is not your thing.

The COVID19 still affects our lives a lot, but I am slowly dining out again. This Yakitori place was on my list long time. From assorted chicken sashimi I knew I was at right place. Meaning? Two bottles down. ;p

Solid neighborhood place.

Honestly this has to be the best yakitori I’ve had in Tokyo. The chicken in every bite was so well seasoned. Not a single step out of place. Drinks were also good, a nice selection of wine and sake! Would definitely come back and bring more people along next time!
