If you are hunting for good yakitori spots that dont require reservations, one that locals frequent & finally dosent break the bank, this place is for you. I enjoyed myself tremendously, I would suggest not to go for the omakase course which has alot of vegetable courses. Instead, dont feel shy, just choose off the menu (has english) to the master and enjoy your time there. They are used to tourists and are very very friendly. Yakitori for this quality & price is unheard of in my country. Order a nice cold lemon sour, some chochin if you are feeling adventurous and just simply enjoy your time there. So good, I went back here twice within a week.

We got here on a Monday at 1615, and the place was packed! Lucky for us there were 4 seats left and we took them. No ticket system, first in best dressed.
The menu was simple, one page with English and Japanese. We ordered almost all the meat items, the price range is reasonable and all we did was point with our fingers and ordered with the chef.
The flavour of the yakitori is on point, the innards are very fresh and you can really taste the charcoal and chicken mixed with the sauce and fat. It’s a dance of textures and flavours in every bite.
The atmosphere is amazing, there’s a food mix of locals and international tourist, you can even shout the chef a pint of beer and they will gladly accept it!
The bench top didn’t feel too cramped, and the service is efficient. Once the yakitori is cooked it gets placed on the plate in front of you and chef replaces that plate every so often.
I will recommend coming here to experience some authentic yakitori!

An amazing omakase experience, perfect for non-Japanese speakers. The chef is friendly and explains each skewer, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The presence of local families and loyal customers enjoying their meals adds a special warmth and authenticity to the dining experience. Cash only.

So happy they welcomed us and our 5 year old to dine in. Needless to say the Yakitori was delicious and so worth the bill! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the great, random conversations with other diners. Everything on the omakase set was fantastic, especially the Tsukune, skin, soft bone, thigh, etc. additional must try: Chochin (egg yolk) with liver, shiitake, egg plant, chicken heart. Queue early for dinner.

One of the best yakitori experiences I’ve had. We were brought to their new restaurant which was just around the corner. The space looks beautiful like the original one. Food and service were impeccable. I can’t recommend this place enough. There is no price on the menu for food but we paid ¥8300 for 12 skewers and 2 highballs.
