No one here speaks any English but it’s no big deal. Very large portion at an affordable price. The taste is comparable to other famous joints in Tokyo.

Easily a five star yakitori restaurant.
My friend recommended to me and it was superb. The taste, cost and service. Nothing can go wrong here. Perfect for a quite dinner, couples and a little drink out. If you are looking for some yakitori, highly recommend visiting here once.

    [Okusawa] “Yakitori Uno”
A yakitori restaurant located about 3 minutes walk from Okusawa Station.
It has also been selected as one of the top 100 Yakitori restaurants.
A restaurant that I was interested in because it was recommended by a gourmet person! I've tried to call last minute, but the phone is full every time. . . My wish came true and I finally visited.
(I think you can usually make a reservation if you have time.)

The entrance to the store is on the first basement floor after going down the stairs. There are no private rooms, only a counter with 15 seats.

You can order à la carte from the menu, or you can order omakase (stop order).
On this day, I wanted to prioritize the skewers I was interested in, so I decided to order them a la carte each time.
It takes a long time to bake, so I ordered about 4 or 5 pieces at a time.

This place is characterized by large skewers of portions, and I think it's one of the largest yakitori I've ever eaten. Grilled to a crisp and crispy texture.
I wasn't asked for the sauce or salt, so I left it up to them.

“Liver” has a creamy taste. Even though it's so big, it's cooked perfectly.

“Yagen cartilage” is not just cartilage, but also has meat attached to it, so the more you chew, the more you feel the flavor as well as the texture.

The “sori”, a rare part, was particularly impressive.
Thick and chewy, plump and juicy. I definitely want you to order it! !

Of course, there was a wide selection of sake, but on this day we had red wine. I'm addicted to yakitori and wine.

The minced rice bowl at the end was more filling than I expected. The minced rice bowl is soaked in sauce and has a classic but addictive taste.

Belly bread with about 15 skewers.
I didn't feel monotonous even after eating this much.
If you arrive late, rare parts may be sold out, so we recommend arriving early.
I definitely want to repeat this!

The cost performance is outstanding, with 8 skewers, ramen, 4 drinks + service charge costing 8,200 yen.
Each skewer is large and filling, but the seasoning is light, so as you chew more and more, you may start to feel unsatisfied.
There is a wide variety of drinks, and it is also attractive that they have hidden sake. Ordered 2 sake glasses + beer + Jabara soda.
The final ramen was thin noodles with a strong bonito soup and had a smooth texture.
There are a lot of seats, but the feeling of being next to you is a little cramped.
The chairs are padded with cushions, which is a nice touch.
It may not be suitable for people who like strong flavors, but it is recommended for those who want to enjoy a satisfying meal at an affordable price.
Credit cards are VISA and MASTER only.
I tried to pay with JCB but it was not possible.
Fortunately, I had cash with me.

This is the skill of a true professional.
You can taste the professional taste of yakitori here.

    Reservations are required.
I don't know how far in advance you have to make a reservation to be able to get in, but since I made a reservation a month in advance, everything went smoothly.

I've eaten a lot of different kinds of yakitori, each with its own color, and I've come across some delicious yakitori.

I also had a hard time with the yakitori at Uno because my cheeks fell onto the table every time I bit into it.

Each piece is large and you can enjoy the juiciness of each topping at its best.

In particular, ``Hatsumoto'' was the most delicious I've ever had.
    You should definitely eat this.
I wonder if there will ever be a day when I can find something even more delicious than this...

I also like the grated daikon radish ( ˊ̱˂˃ˋ̱ )

What's even more surprising is how good the customer service is.
Even though the counter fills up in seconds,
The landlady? They were all smiling and talking happily, which further enhanced the atmosphere of the shop⤴︎

It might be a good idea to order a certain number of different types, and at the end, two people can share one and taste it!
After all, the topic is huge.

It cost about 13,000 yen for two people with a few drinks, which is pretty cost-effective.

At first glance, it looks like a high-end restaurant, but it feels like home, and the quality of the yakitori you can't find anywhere else at this price.

Thank you for the meal! !
