If you enjoy tonkatsu, this is highly recommended. Delicious, juicy, good sized portions. It's a small place seating only 11-12 persons. The owners speak very little English but there's an English menu, and in any case if you're there for Tonkatsu, it's either Hire-katsu (lean pork) or Rosu-katsu (fatty pork) - my favourite! A set dinner which includes rice, soup and pickles is about ¥3300 with tea. A la carte mains are circa ¥2000-2500. They had Obanzai dishes when I visited recently. Beer and wine is by the bottle.


The owners speak very little English but they do have an English menu. The people running the establishment were very friendly and adorable. Everything was great. The tonkatsu pieces were big compared to what I get back home and they were full of flavor. The soup was extraordinary and paired well with the veggies and tonkatsu. I believe they only take cash as I didn’t see any machines to read cards.


I went to eat tonkatsu for the first time in a long time, but the atmosphere of the restaurant hadn't changed at all, and the tonkatsu was still delicious.
This tonkatsu restaurant is selected as one of Tabelog's top 100 restaurants every year.
I think it's better to make a reservation before going.
