Really wonderful kaiseki experience. The head chef is a charming character and wanted to engage us more and explain the delicious food but our Japanese is very limited. Nonetheless, we had an delicious meal and managed to understand what we were enjoying with the staff's patient explanations. Very attentive (we had one chef preparing each course in front of us) and warm experience. Recommended.

We stumbled upon this place by chance so we were totally unprepared. When we entered the restaurant, the waitress in kimono greeted us friendly and showed us the menu immediately to “inform “ us the prices. I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately since we didn’t reserve in advance, we could not sit at the bar and watch the chef cooking. The service was really impeccable. We had ordered several dishes a la carte. The food was good but for me a bit pricey. I expected more for the prices they demand.

Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff speak limited English and they have English menus for the tourists, however we still had no idea what was on the menu and just ordered the lunch special. Not a bad choice as we got to try a little bit of everything. Worth visiting if you want an authentic experience.
