Sat there for launch. Simple looking place, didnt expect much. Hands down the BEST meal we had in Japan. The Donbury was amazing. The fish was super fresh. 1650 per Donburi. Dont miss out!

Amazing moment! By luck we had the chef for us alone he prepared in front of us the puffer fish, it was super tasty and talk about which part is the best and all the history and tradition of Japan and answer all our questions! He even let us try the real wasabi.

Every dish on the set menu was on point. Very kind couple owner who accommodated wheelchair dine-in.

It was my first night in Kyoto. It was cold and dark and I was starving. Found this cozy little pl e through google maps and I had the best surprise.
The place was all for myself and I always doubt when a restaurant is empty. Gladly I was wrong and the food was marvelous! The chef served me personally and explained each dish of the 5 course meal. He was kind and generous.
Don’t miss this beautiful charming little place in Kyoto!
