APRIL 2023
Came here for the taiyaki and while waiting inside the store you can smell the nice woodfire aroma from the grill where the taiyaki is being made. The waffle batter was thin and crispy around the edges, filled with a lot of soft red bean paste which was not too sweet. It was tasty at a very affordable price.

Waited in line for the famous taiyaki and additionally ordered a monaka ice cream. Price was reasonable, and everything was fresh as can be. I don’t know if I’ll wait in line again since it takes a bit of time, but I can appreciate the quality and the care that gets placed into making each taiyaki.

The batter is thin but perfectly balanced with the red bean paste inside. When you eat it fresh, the outside is slightly crispy. No wonder why there is always a line up here and mainly locals too!
