Our dinner last night was just amazing. The cuisine is subtile, well crafted, delicious and has some very appreciable touches of modernity. The service is careful and very warm. Definitely a must try in Kyoto for kaiseki experience !

Highly recommended especially for gourmets who love Japanese sake! !

Located in Marutamachi, Kyoto,
Yangasu is a Japanese restaurant that combines Kyoto cuisine, innovative cuisine, and sake kaiseki.
I've been curious about it since I saw it on Instagram
Finally the long-awaited first visit✨

Luxuriously too
We received a course of 7 dishes made with carefully selected summer ingredients and 8 types of sake pairings.

The first item, sesame tofu, is innovative.
I was impressed by the taste, which was somewhere in between sweets and side dishes!

From soups to burgers,
You can't do this at a regular Japanese restaurant.
I had a gourmet experience!

There is also a semi-private room with a counter and a sunken kotatsu.
You can relax and enjoy yourself
Recommended for parties such as dates!
