Although we passed by a several times, we never tried this restaurant because there are many restaurants in Ueno. We went during lunch time and got a window seat, it was a rainy day but still had a nice view seeing the area. Sashimi was at reasonable price. We like the deep fried tofu with miso and green onion. Staffs were with great service.

So glad to find this restaurant in Ueno district. The seafood menus are delicious and made by fresh seafood provided from Yoshiike. The price is affordable and no need to wait for a long queue.
Plus, the restaurant is open from 11:00 to 22:00, travelers can have a wonderful dinner after shopping. Highly recommended!

Japanese food court with very nice food. We got here pretty late and almost closing but they were friendly to allow us to order.

Perhaps besides Tsukiji market, you would not find as much variety of seafood at reasonable prices than here. This venue is next to Uniclo and near to the JR Station. The fresh and frozen seafood sections are quite good. Service is quick and easy. The cashier will scan for you and she directs to the payment kiosk and you pay by cash or credit or suica. At the entrance area there are small plastic bags and an ice dispenser to pack your fish cold.
