Located on a very narrow street with a simple and cozy atmosphere however, every single dish was delicious and mouth-watering!! A must-place-to-visit for a great dim sum experience in Kobe! If you’re planning to visit this place on weekend, you’d better make a reservation in advance because there was a long line after we got out this place around 7:30pm on Saturday.

The establishment can seat approx 20 guests. There was already a wait of 4 parties ahead of us when we arrived at 11:37am Sunday! A physical menu is provided when you get closer to getting seated and a staff member takes your order at the door. The menu has pictures to assist with ordering and I checked their menu online for an english translation. They sold out of the pork spring rolls at 12:15 due to take-away orders and guests who also take away after dining. The staff member sold us on getting more dishes since she said we couldn't order more after the order slip is placed and that the # of dishes wasn't enough for our group of 3. We ended up getting 6. Listed in order ot best to worst:
The dishes come out at rapid succession.
1. Sticky rice in lotus leaf - delicious, stuffed with meat. Came precut for easier handling
2. HK Piroshki - this fried dish wss crunchy, flavorful stuffing of minced pork
3. Egg tart - expensive for how small they are but they're fresh and crunchy and perfectly flaky!!
4. Stir fried noodles - great taste profile, filling, a great chew to the noodles
5. Pork spare rib- Nothing special, piece of meat wee difficult to chew
6. Seafood congee - biggest regret as for the price point to what it was, didn't feel worth it.
The staff bustling around to clean your dishes as you finish. Once done, pay at the front with CASH ONLY.
Overall, all the food was delicious!! Pricr for some dishes are over-priced but would definitely recommend.

I laugh when I see people complain about service. They clearly haven't been to Hong Kong before. It's all about the food. Who cares about service?

So far this has been the most authentic place with fresh dimsum. My trained mouth says the dimsum is freshly made and not frozen. The congee has tastes of dried scallops which is a nice touch. However I do notice they use Japanese rice instead of Thai. So the congee is a bit thick.

All the other places in Kobe Chinatown are garbage tourist traps.

Will be glad to come back soon and finally eat inside.
