This is truly a local and authentic Okinawa restaurant to experience! The service is speedy, helpful even w limited English, the waitress was able to help out.
We r so impressed with all the dishes we ordered. Exceptionally delicious and value for the price!!
Go early to avoid the long wait. Tempura is only served at dinner.
And they only take cash. So be prepared.

Yunangi has been opened for more than half century already. Don’t expect to have such a delicious Okinawa traditional cuisine here. Really mouth-watering and always a long queue but worth the wait.
We ordered fried bitter melon with egg, tofu, and pork, seaweed tempura, and fried fish. Definitely love these dishes. There is an English menu you can choose from, and the boss can communicate in English too.

A great place to taste Okinawa food. Good Sree Stir fried in woks with long chopsticks. Slow heat. I love their vegetable dishes. Although most of them are pork and beef base. Pure vegetarians should avoid or be very careful cos they may accidentally sneak some port belly in the wok. I don’t eat meat by health choice, but not religious against it. So the accidentally taste of meat is ok with me. Got to order the seaweed salad (See pics). They are like string of bubbles eh ouch burst in your mouth. I love the okra / egg plant. Tofu seaweed soup is very appetising. And you got to leave space for the Okinawa soba. Wow! Soup is so nice and soba so fresh.

Oishii !!
The line may be long (waited about 40mins) but it moves quickly. Very rustic atmosphere and the food tasted homey !! Open kitchen with counter seats, tatami and tables. Staffs and owner is friendly and they have english menu with photos. Only 2 chefs with 3 fire burners and yet food comes quickly.
Too many options and 5 dishes are definitely enough for 2 person.
Highly recommended !!
