Zen Room Jiyugaoka Review Summary

Small tables but the lunch spicy soy milk noodles was amazing! Hotpot felt healthy & herbal. More taste than Japanese shabu but a little medicinal. Beware, they force you to buy 2 portions for 2 people even if you order other lunch sets.

Small but delicious and very healthy « yakuzen ryori » restaurant! Their « nabe » are absolutely delicious ! I love this place !

Lunch Noodle set is amazing. I had the soy milk tantanmen and it was a very unique and delicious taste.

Price was very reasonable and the portion was just right.

Will definitely be going back for the hinabe.

I had never eaten something as delicious as their lunch noodle soup. The pork, broth and vegetables have a perfect balance. Even after eating, your stomach feels amazing. Other than that during lunch bean sprouts can be reordered for free.

If you are in jiyuugaoka and looking for a totally new food experience I suggest you go to this place. Lunch menu is around 1100 yen but definitely worth it.

I went there for a tantanmen soup but it was already sold out by 1pm. I got the soupless version - portion was small and rather plain, definiately not worth the price. Also to get recommended spicy level you need to pay extra.
I'll try the soup version next time, but first impression wasn't good.
