First, the pond and view from the restaurant are beautiful. However, we ordered the yuba donburi as well as the sakura noodles and unfortunately found both very bland (and my wife is Japanese!). If you want stronger flavours, it is probably better to go with yuba curry. That being said, the location is wonderful for those looking for a bite while visiting Daigoji.

Daigo-Ji is my favorite temple in Kyoto. The restaurant at the end of the beautiful park is also worth a stay! Very nice interior and when you get a place in front of the window you have an awesome view.
The vegetarian curry with soy leaves was a very nice dish. Rich taste and very good rice. The serve some nice green tea as an appetizer.
