Went there for a dinner with my girlfriend around 6pm. None of us spoke Japanese but the owner and staffs were very enthusiastic to help and there was also English menu. Food was very good. Not too pricey. They even have their youtube channel showing how to eat their food in a proper way if any customers are interested. The restaurant itself was not so big but we went early so there wasn’t any queue. Would recommend if you’re looking for some hidden unagi-based place.

I al so happy I found this. I was craving grilled eel and was intrigued by the good reviews. It was quietly tucked in an alley.
The staff were welcoming and warm.
I got the Hitsumabushi dinner, and they showed a YouTube video on how to eat it.
All I can say about the meal is WOW. It was delicious, generous in portion size. I loved it.

As a return customer of this wonderful place after the years, I have to say we are in love for their passion to craft great meals for customers. This is what makes us return to this restaurant during every trip to Tokyo Japan. My wife and I especially love their seasonal brew of fruity drink! If you are have not been there, the place will be a little bit hard to find as it is located in a inner alley from the main road. But they have a display of their dishes out the door so it will be easy to spot once you are in that alley. Enjoy the wonderful culinary dishes and great hospitality from the amazing chefs and hosts of this place.

My like 100th time back at this place. Food doesn't look much but it's excellent. Staff can't speak English and you maybe given a Japanese menu, but if you have Google translate use the photo option. Otherwise ask for an English menu. The Japanese menu have some stuff that's not on the English menu. Other than the must eat eel bowl rice, you have to try the crunchy deep fried eel bones , melt in your mouth eel omelette, warm you up eel soup and tempura eel. Lots more on the Japanese menu.
