A dining experience that effortlessly combines impeccable service, refreshing flavors, and authentic Italian flair.
The food here is great. Each dish bursts with the freshness and vibrancy you’d expect from top-tier Italian cuisine. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a range of choices that cater to different palates.
No meal at Balcony by the 6th Italian is complete without trying their signature pancakes. Served after the main course is complete, these pancakes are light, fluffy, and decadently delicious. They provide the perfect sweet finish to a well-rounded meal, leaving a lasting impression that lingers long after the last bite.
The lunch course is an absolute must-try. It offers a curated selection of the restaurant’s best dishes, allowing you to sample a variety of flavors and textures in one sitting.

Overall the food, drink and desserts were excellent. The French fries with truffle and cheese was crispy and flavourful. The two pastas that we tried were savoury and well seasoned. The highlights of the meal were definitely the dessert. The 6th pancake was fluffy and moist, a must try item.
The drawback would be the environment. The seats were tightly packed. The whole place was full of noise. You would feel like dining in a wet market.

Famous restaurant for both local and tourists. Short queue to enter during tea time (less than 10mins) with warm greetings. The signature pancake came with smooth butter and syrup, and I have added homemade vanilla ice-cream that made the dish just perfect! The beef burger with fries is another highlight even not many people ordered. The beefsteak was freshly made in the kitchen. Open kitchen design looked cool but crowded table setting made it uncomfortable to chat and stay.

This was my first time coming to their new location- previously I ate a couple times at their Yurakucho branch which is now closed. This one has a more upscale vibe which is definitely reflected in the pricing. Tried a lot of things on the menu, stand out was definitely the wagyu, but it was a little expensive for the portion. Great ambiance, great service for dinner! Wish they had their pancake on the dinner menu

Beautifully located at Mori Building Azabudai Hills and well decorated Italian/Japanese crossover restaurant with a vibrant modern. But I’m sorry to say their service level is unacceptable in Japan’s standard and probably the worst I personally have ever experienced in Tokyo.
We were first greeted by a stern face reception table who didn’t even attempt to interact with people in line even when the line was for pre-booked customers. And if you were early like us (cos I’ve seen her responded to people in front of me who were left unattended for approx 10min staring at the laptop), we’ve got a response ‘come back at your time’ without attempting to explain or anything. Sorry never seen this in Japan.
Table service was rush and impatient, and you better decide your drinks quick or else you’ll receive another stern look. Even if we did (knowing what happened to customers next to us), we quickly ordered wine and sparkling water, and we were served both drinks in similar wine glasses. Again never seen in Tokyo.
Food was decently good but big let down by other crew members. Again sorry to mumble about it and I wish they could improve and succeed.
