Great little udon store near station. Lovely vibes n friendly staff. They actually have English menu. People keep coming in. Quite a no of young people visit the store. The slurping sound by diners are what make the eating even more fun and tasty. Hot afternoon so didn’t try the soup tis time. Next round definitely will try the hot soup noodles. Love it!

Since the Gojo store was closed, I entered the Nishikyogoku main store for the first time.
Even though it was past 1:30 p.m., there were 10 people waiting. Benkei udon on the iron plate was a perfect match of spicy kinpira burdock and sweet foxtail. My companions are tanuki and curry udon. Both were served hot and delicious.
