A great experience to try their fresh mochi. It's different than the ones you get in those food stands but definitely better.
Tons of locals come in and as tourists we were treated nicely. Price is definitely on the higher side but it was good for an experience. Even the mochi itside was worth the trip to here.
Mochi is about ¥1000 and set is about ¥3000 range.

The kudzumochi was some of the best mochi I've ever had. The kudzu udon was also really good.

This was one of the recommended places which specialises in Japanese sweets and tea.
Had the Kuzu Mochi, another specialty of Nara’s, and it was really a treat. Love the soft silky smooth, almost mochi-like texture which almost melts in your mouth. If only they could dial down the sweetness of the brown sugar syrup, then it’d be perfect

Came and tried their kudzu porridge and it was delicious! Especially the mountain yam with yuzu ones, aromatic and has a very clear rich flavor.
The sesame tofu is the best that I have tasted so far, thick sticky and yet rich in sesame flavor. Absolutely delectable.
The kudzu jelly has a refreshing taste with it while has a great spingy texture to it. Recommended to try!

The place is comfy and warm, i waited around 10 minutes until i got my seat for 4 people. I tried the mochi (660 yen), and the ice cream was also good here. Definitely worth to visit after you visit the temples & shrines around.
