Be prepared for a possible wait during lunchtime. However, it’s worth it! The tempura here is wonderfully crispy and not greasy at all, unlike others I’ve tried.

What a great ancient Tempura place! Delicious ten don and many combination to choose from. If you like tempura, this is the place to try out. The wait is a bit longer than usual restaurant. For those food hunter, I am certain that you would find the wait worth awhile. One last thing, the dessert is a pleasant surprise 😀

Recommend to go there to historical Tendon stall in Tokyo. Their tempura is really authentic, juicy, tender and crispy outside. I love their Kisu(fish) tempura. This is the best tempura in Japan. I’ll definitely come back again when I go back to Tokyo again.

Awesome tempura don, probably the best one I've had so far ! And loved the tiny home vibe.

I haven't tried enough tempura places to compare directly (yes I've had Tempura before), but I can say I was full for a good while.
The rating is based off the taste + wait time.
