A very pleasant lunch short course. We didn't have enough time for the full course. Every dish was a work of art. The bread (not pictured) was good. Service was personalized. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. This is not a chain restaurant which was a plus. Would go back for the full course.

WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND / 10
There are so many things I want to say and I don’t even know where to start 😂 let me jot it down in bullet points and hope that helps!
1. Private dining FTW (5:30PM start perhaps is the best time for dinner on a Friday! Then another customer came about)
2. Great personalised service and that goes without saying (not only because I was the only customer and the Somelier recommended amazing wine, who’d ever thought about 日本語 and fish at a French dining? Also 4 tables and 1 private room = intimate = perfect dating spot)
3. Outstanding food (don’t let the size fool you. Take my words cuz I left the restaurant stuffed). Not a チェン店, means quality is A+.
Conclusion?
Go try this place out and thank me later!

Went for a weekend lunch course, we were the only ones there. Beautiful room, with tasteful decor. The waitress was a little shy perhaps because I am a non-Japanese, made us feel awkward.
The choice of drinks is the main reason I dont give 5 stars - I wished to have a beer and there was only one choice - a blonde ale, I think. It was awful. Really, I wouldnt pay ¥200 for it in a cheap old izakaya and no idea who thinks it was a good idea to offer it in such a nice restaurant.
It set me up to not expect much from the meal, however the food was fantastic throughout. The waitress did not notice our water glasses needed refilling (or might have been too shy to approach?) which was a little perturbing given we were the only customers.
The food and presentation really made up for this strange service though.
If it wasnt for the puzzling choice of beer, I would happily give this 5/5.
