Gion Daiki Review Summary

The restaurant is located in small corridor very close to Tatsumibashi(巽橋), Gion.
I am confident that Daiki is one of the best Kyoto cuisine restaurants and offer high grade experience.
Highly recommend to book in advance.

we came today for my girlfriend's birthday. rarely any tourist here. but its such a hidden gem. the passionate put into each course is simply amazing. its hard to imagine a small cuisine place can achieve such a level.

The chief spent years with Japanese iron chief and offers Japan authentic but creative Kyoto cuisine. I visit them when special occasions.

We enjoyed delicious food while having a fun conversation at the counter with the friendly owner. It was awesome! !

A small, cozy shop with about 10 seats at the counter.
It was a fun time thanks to the delicious food and the friendly host.
I don't smoke, but the fact that the store allows you to smoke seemed to be a good thing for the customers I brought with me.
However, perhaps due to good ventilation, there was no smoke.
In addition to the photo, the chawan mushi with foie gras was also delicious, but it disappeared into my stomach as soon as I took the photo.
