Developing a new restaurant in Meguro at the end of the year. We visited Furusatei, a popular Italian restaurant in Meguro. This store was located along Gonnosuke-zaka and was always crowded, which caught my attention. Although the restaurant is small, it had a nice atmosphere and we were guided through the counter at the entrance to a table in the back. The menu makes use of seasonal ingredients, and there are dishes that use puffer fish and puffer fish milt, giving the impression that you can enjoy each season. There's a wide selection of wine on the menu, so it's good for drinkers. All of the dishes had just the right amount of salt, and the avocado ricotta cheese tartar with truffles and spicy tripe that I recommended were delicious and left a lasting impression on me. It seems like it's hard to get a reservation, but I'd like to visit again soon.

An Italian restaurant located about 6 minutes walk from the west exit of Meguro Station. I've often passed by this restaurant and was intrigued by how delicious it looks and how the counter is always full, so this visit was a long-awaited visit.

I made an inquiry about two weeks in advance, made a reservation, and went on Friday around 7:30pm.
Actually, on the day of the event, the number of people suddenly changed (I'm really sorry it was a busy Friday), but they were able to accommodate the situation. thank you.

When I opened the menu, I saw an array of dishes made with seasonal ingredients such as blowfish, Japanese mackerel, cod, and milt, all of which looked delicious and drew me in.

Drink prices range from ¥1,210 for a glass of wine, ¥1,300 for sparkling drinks, and ¥990 for Italian beers and highballs.
We drank orange, red, and white wine, and for the orange we selected our favorite from the two types that were available in glasses that day, and the red and white wines were recommended to go with the food and were brought to us.

The most delicious thing I ate was the "Blowfish Cutlet with Porcini Sauce" (¥3,300)!
The blowfish cutlet is coated in very fine breadcrumbs and is moist and perfectly cooked. Combined with the rich and aromatic porcini mushrooms and sauce, it was so delicious that before I knew it, it was gone.

I also thought that the ``milt cacio e pepe'' (¥2,800) was a combination that I had never tried before, but the creaminess of the milt was added to the cacio e pepe to create an extremely rich cream pasta. It had become. Although I was quite full, the combination was perfect, so I finished it in one go.

Anyway, we each drank 4-5 drinks and ordered 7 food items, including main dishes and pasta, so I thought it was quite a meal, but the bill came out to be around 12,000 yen per person.
Considering the ingredients used, the location in Meguro, the stylish atmosphere of the restaurant, and the service provided by the staff, the price seemed reasonable, even reasonable.

This is a restaurant that I would definitely like to visit again when the seasons change. Thank you for the meal!

Visited on a weekday evening in May 2023. Almost full. This shop is located just before going down Gonnosuke-zaka. When you go inside, it's not that big. The first floor has a counter and two table seats. The counter is the remains of a former standing bar, and the legroom is narrow. There are private rooms on the basement and second floor, and they seem spacious.

The food is recommended, and the drinks are mainly wine. Specialty avocado and burrata cheese, marinated bonito, chicken and new burdock cream sauce, truffle pasta, etc.
All of them were delicious, but the ones that surprised me personally were the chicken and new burdock. The surface of the chicken is grilled to a crispy texture and topped with a rich cream sauce. Combined with the wild flavor of the roasted burdock, it was extremely delicious. On the other hand, the truffle pasta was delicious, but the truffle itself was a little too tasty. You might like this. There are many different types of pasta, so I wanted to try some others.

Immediately after I finished eating, I gave it 5 stars, but the bill was about 12,000 yen per person. I drank about 4 glasses of wine, but I felt that it was a bit too expensive. I'd like to visit again, but I don't get to use it that often, and I feel like it's a restaurant where you choose the people you go with. But I want to eat chicken again!
