Arrived on Saturday around 1:50pm. There were 10 groups waiting. I thought the rotation would be fast since it was a udon restaurant, but we were seated at 3pm.
The two of us had curry udon with chicken tempura, white rice, kitsune udon, and chikuwa tempura. I was guided to the counter.
The countertop is high, giving a sense of privacy. i feel good.
The height of the chair foot rest and the counter foot rest are the same, so your feet are comfortable (lol)
Is the operation reasonably good?
■About curry udon
The soup had just the right amount of spice and the bonito stock, making it an excellent soup for curry udon.
The udon noodles are somewhere between Sanuki and Osaka udon. In other words, it is chewy and a little soft. Although the noodles were flat, they were easy to eat.
■Fox udon chikuwa tempura
The soup is sweet and the dashi stock works well and is delicious. However, the fox is not that sweet. The chikuwa tempura is crunchy and filling. As I ate more and more, I began to notice the sweetness of the soup.
I think it would be better if it was a little softer.
*Overall review
The udon, the soup, the store, the operation, the price, everything is good. ★5 points.
But I waited too long. An hour is a long time for udon noodles. It took me an hour to come from Osaka, but I don't think I'll come all the way.
I would like to come and visit you again when I have free time.

This is a very delicious handmade udon shop!
Customers were already lining up before the store opened...
All the dishes were delicious and the portions were really huge!
I'm a big fan of the special portions at other stores, but...
When I ordered this restaurant's lunch set for 1.5 balls, it was painfully large...(^_^;)
The menu is extensive, so I'm sure I'll come back again!
It was really delicious, thank you for the meal m(_ _)m

It's no wonder that this is a rare and popular restaurant in the Yamato Basin where you can enjoy Sanuki-style udon in a variety of flavors.
If you follow the street on the north side of Koriyama Aeon (the street on the south side of Sekisui factory) towards Mikasayama (east side), you will find it at the intersection with the street leading to JR Nara Station. Those who are familiar with the area will understand that it is a fairly remote location that is difficult to reach by car, but it is a popular restaurant that is usually crowded during lunch hours.
Although it's Sanuki-style, the price is quite high, but considering the transportation costs, it's a good deal, so I decided to order the udon noodles with chashu, which is the restaurant's specialty. The noodles are firm and chewy, Sanuki-style, and when you eat this udon with the chashu pork soaked in the sweet and spicy sauce, it's satisfyingly delicious. It may be said that the saltiness is typical of Nara, making it perfect for the intense heat of the Yamato Basin. This sweet and spicy taste is also applied to other udon noodles, and the soup of Kitsune Udon is also quite sweet and salty. I love her, but I might choose someone else in that respect.
It's a popular restaurant, so there's a high chance of waiting, but being able to eat delicious udon in Nara is a valuable experience, so I recommend going if you have the chance.

Full of volume and cheap❗You can't go wrong with Jonetsu Group's udon. This time, the curry udon set is 1.5 balls for 970 yen. I'm someone who eats quite a lot, but I ended up leaving so much white rice left over. The taste is perfect! Is there anyone who doesn't like this? It was a delicious curry udon. I'm already looking forward to seeing what I'll try next. I even bought a dashi bag as a souvenir.
