Hong Kong Yum Cha Dim Sum Kitchen Review Summary

On my way to the law office with mother. It’s good taste in general. The dish of pork could be a bit more tender. Dessert with lunch set is a good deal and also tasty. Recommend them. We like the rice porridge a lot too.

It's a good place to try dishes inspired by Hong Kong cuisine. However, it's clear that the flavors have been adapted to suit the Japanese palate. The depth and boldness of the flavors aren't quite as pronounced as what you'd experience in Hong Kong.

I ordered BBQ pork with rice, rice rolls with beef, and egg tarts, total was ¥1980 + consumption tax + 10% SERVICE FEE TAX (calculated after consumption tax)

THIS IS CRAZY!!!!!!! There is no reason to have a service fee tax here, it’s not an izakaya, it’s far from the station and in an alley way with no human traffic.

This is BAD business practice!!!

Don't come here unless you like paying +20% tax on food!!!!!

Delicious dim sum, not the most delicate prawn dumplings but tasty. One note was the staff were pacing beside us making it a bit uncomfortable.

The best dumpling I’ve had in Tokyo yet. Everything is legit good. The stir fried thin noodles is super tasty; haven’t found anything like that since I moved to Japan a few years back. The deep fried charsiu pie was another favorite.

The dim sum are top notch as well. Love it! Next time I’m going to try the dessert dim sum.
