Honke Daiichi Asahi Jimbocho Store Description

Located in Jimbocho, Tokyo, Honke Daiichi Asahi is a renowned ramen restaurant that has been serving its customers since 1947. Following the success of their original shop in Kyoto, they have expanded to various locations, including their newest branch in Jimbocho. Entered the store around 13:10 on December 29th. The first floor counter is 80% full. There are also counter seats in the back. I wonder if the second floor will be worth it?
Meal ticket machine type. It's outside the store.
I ordered chashu noodles and was it only available on weekdays? Half fried rice.

I've had it several times at the main store in Kyoto, but it's still delicious even when I eat it in Tokyo!
However, I felt that the taste was a little strong to my foolish taste. Maybe it's tailored to Tokyo. Maybe it's just my imagination.
The fried rice is oily and has a strong flavor.
Is delicious!

This Kyoto ramen shop is located along Hakusan Dori, right between JR Suidobashi Station and Subway Jimbocho Station. Although it is a soy sauce-based pork bone soup, it has no taste and is easy to eat. The taste is strong. Kujo green onions are delicious, so we recommend using them as a topping. Fried rice also tastes good, so eating half fried rice with it will make you feel satisfied. On the 1st floor, there are counter seats in the front and table seats in the back, but there also seems to be seating on the 2nd floor, so I guess these are table seats as well. The payment method is advance meal ticketing, and there is a ticket machine at the entrance of the store. I'm really glad that it supports transportation IC cards.

The "special ramen" was not the usual ramen with fancy toppings, but rather a large serving of char siu noodles, so it was regular char siu noodles (1,050 yen) with 3 toppings (flavored egg, menma, extra green onion) ( 200 yen) and half fried rice (350 yen).

When I was a student, I used to go to Daiichi Asahi in Gojo Ohashi, Kyoto, and it was nostalgic for me because it was the same as before, with a light soup and thinly sliced char siu (technically speaking, it seems to be the original lineage).

Also, the fried rice is a little moist, which I like, and it's also delicious with a good amount of chashu. It was empty even at lunchtime, but 1,600 yen was a pretty good price for ramen.
