Just got back to our hotel after dinner here. So far on my bike trip this is my 2nd favorite meal! Staff was so helpful and polite and patient. Food was well prepared and so fresh. I had their house special salad with very fresh veggies and a delicious dressing. Had crispy squid on top. Chilled tofu and grilled eggplant with a fresh corn fritter made the perfect dinner after eating so much sashimi every day. I would eat here again if I were staying another night! Good job staff and chefs!

This was a gem! Small, but intimate! Lots of fresh seafood! Service was excellent! English menu available! We enjoyed every dish, the geoduck, okay sashimi were both excellent! The grilled/baked whole garlic was a first for us and it was fantastic, cooked to perfection! Even the salad was very refreshing and tasty! This was supposed to be a non smoking restaurant, but I did smell cigarettes, I think it came from the private rooms upstairs.

NON-smoking Izakaya with complete and full English menu. If you like Izakaya food like me but cannot tolerate the smoking, this is a great choice. Service is also friendly. We tried 3 kinds of sashimi, squid, goeduck and ablone. They are all fresh and tasty. Fried food and nigiri are also outstanding. It's 5 minutes walk from train station. Price is reasonable. Highly recommended!!
