A place I always go to in Hakodate is ``Live Fish Cuisine Ikasei Honten'', and I look forward to eating the live squid sashimi here.
This time, of course, I made a reservation and enjoyed the live squid.
It is transparent and the more you chew, the sweetness spreads throughout your mouth.
Once you eat the live squid here, you won't even think that other squid is squid (lol).
I decided to have the legs fried later.
There was also asparagus tempura, grilled crab miso shell, fried caspe, grilled squid, dashimaki egg, and fried mozzarella cheese, all of which were definitely delicious.
In particular, the fried Kaspe (kasube) was delicious, with fluffy flesh and crunchy bones.
The drinks were served quickly and went well with the food, so we kept going.
