Japanese Restaurant Wadakura Review Summary

Wonderful authentic experience at Wadakura.

You will eat in front of a wonderful view upon the Impérial Parc. The private rooms are well designed and decorated with style.

About the food, it’s simply perfect. You Will discover many traditional Japanese dishes server in beautiful plates.

You will discover new savors and rediscover simple things like the Miso Soup.

In the end, we appreciated our time at Wadakura.

Not recommended for foreigners. Almost humiliating quality for 30000 yen per person set. I have visited this restaurant for more than 5 times since 2016, it used to be good. But this time the quality is so sad. I am puzzled why it still gets good ratings on tabelog given its way below average expectation of Japanese restaurants. Not sure if it’s bad because we are foreign tourists. Stay away from it. It’s the most terrible experience we had in Tokyo.

What a treat! The kaiseki cuisine here ranks amongst the best in the world! I had the set menu (katsuni lunch course) and few other dishes off the a-la-carte too. Everything was splendid. (And the service was respectful and class apart). Highly recommended if you are in Tokyo! (also the food kept coming so forgot to take a few picx)

The Wadakura is on the 9th fl of the Palace Hotel (with spectacular views of the moats of the Imperial Palace).

Loved their authentic food. Could not finish all!
