Kailaku Review Summary

Came during lunch time but the line moved pretty fast! I ordered the B set with 5 jumbo gyoza and half friend rice 😆 Honestly 5 was a bit too much for me but the gyoza was delicious! It isn't like most places where the flavor is too overwhelming so I can see why it's so well loved. I recommend ordering only 3 pieces of gyoza and fried rice instead of getting the set 👍

Thoroughly enjoyed the large gyoza and fried rice at Kailaku. Washed down with a large bottle of Asahi which was a perfect companion. We sat up stairs in a semi private room with two tables of about 6 each. And the food was great value too.

Came for the giant gyoza and they did not disappoint. Wow. How do they keep all that flavour in such a large package!!

Giant gyozas that are definitely worth trying!! Service was okay but not extraordinary. We came around 4pm during the week and the place was nearly empty. That‘s why I can’t refer to dinner times! Prices are around 8-12€ and it’s worth every coin!

Jumbo Gyoza. Comes at set of 3 for ¥540 (additional ¥180ea for add-on). Taste is pretty good but recommend to order their set meals where side dishes & soup can help raise the level of satisfaction. Otherwise, just Gyoza alone, taste can be pretty flat after having 3 or 4. If you are a Chili person, then the Chili will be nowhere near to satisfy your crave because it is not spicy & and a little salty. Try it with yellow mustard & it tastes surprisingly good. A boost will be the white vinegar, which I thought made a perfect match. Service wise, it is pretty hard to get the attention of the waiters due to the many blind corners, so if you need something, he quicker to look for them instead. There's always a queue, but the waiting time is fast because once seated & order is placed, your food will be served almost instantly, so don't worry if you see a long queue. Just join in 😊
It does have a takeaway menu serving 5pcs cooked at ¥980 & fresh at ¥950.
