Kosyu Ichiba Description

Kosyu Ichiba is a unique restaurant located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, specializing in 'wantan men' or wantan noodles. This cozy eatery is known for its beautifully clear broth and generous portions of wantan dumplings. The wantan dumplings are made fresh and boiled to perfection, with a smooth and juicy texture that is sure to satisfy your cravings.

For those who prefer a lighter flavor, the restaurant offers a clear broth made from simmering chicken bones and fresh vegetables. If you're a fan of rich and flavorful soups, the chicken white broth is highly recommended. It is made by combining chicken white broth with a fish-based dashi, resulting in a fragrant and savory broth.

What sets Kosyu Ichiba apart from other dining establishments is their selection of three homemade sauces: spicy chili oil, salted ginger sauce, and garlic sauce. These sauces add an extra layer of flavor to the wantan dumplings, allowing you to customize your meal to your liking.

The restaurant prides itself on its friendly and energetic service, with staff members always ready to greet you with a smile. The menu offers a variety of wantan noodle dishes, including set menus that come with a side of braised pork rice. Whether you're a fan of wantan noodles or looking to try something new, Kosyu Ichiba is a must-visit for a delicious and satisfying meal.

Kosyu Ichiba Reviews

Kosyu Ichiba Google Average Rating

This ramen restaurant, located a few minutes' walk from Shinjuku Station, is famous for its wonton ramen. There are several types of wontons, including shrimp and ground pork, and the ramen soups range from light to thick, with a wide variety of soup and ingredient combinations. There are also a variety of side dishes, such as chashu-don (pork chop suey) bowls, as well as a special set menu. There is also a lunch set that is even more economical at lunch time. All of the menu items are delicious, and the side dishes are not to be underestimated. And the volume of the food is large enough to fill you up.

Great place to find wonton and ramen. I think the concept is a mixed between Japanese and Chinese culinary, which makes the wonton unique and taste great. The price is reasonable with big portion of ramen and wonton. Service is friendly, although some staff don't speak english well, but they are quite helpful. Love to come back again!
