There are several La Baguette stores in Shinjuku City. This store is actually the La Baguette Factory Store.

From the outside, especially before this store opens, it’s difficult to tell that this store is a bakery,

It’s also a bit tricky finding this store as it’s located on a nondescript backstreet across from a coin laundry operator with no other restaurants or other food stores nearby.

Please note that neither the Factory Store nor any of the other stores have eat-in facilities.

This Factory Store is actually very small—and only four patrons are allowed inside the store space at one time.

Before lunchtime, particularly on weekdays, there’s usually a line of four or more people outside the store—which opens at 11:45 AM.

This is important to know as there is no menu board outside the store, so you can’t know what’s available on the day and what’s sold out until you actually get inside the store.

And as the counter staff takes orders from each customer, one at a time, it can take up to several minutes for one person to place and receive their

If you’re in a hurry, or have a time limited to your lunch hour, either get here before 11:45 or forget it.

The bread 🥖🍞is really delicious but you could wait 30 minutes or more to place your order only to learn they don’t have what you want to eat.

Conversely, if you get there early enough to be one of the first four patrons allowed inside the store first, you could find some nice discounts on items leftover from the day before.

Delicious bread shop
It is recommended to go to about 12:30 because the quantity is small except for the bucket.
There are not many products lined up immediately after the store opening.
It is cash only.
