I love everything about this noodle shop! The noodles are delicious! All made with first-rate ingredients and delivered with great pride in a very cozy atmosphere.

You’ll always leave this place feeling very satisfied and in a much better mood than when you arrived! It’s all so good!

If the only kinds of ramen you can get in Tokyo are good or very good, this is easily on the very good side of the line. A rich, thick chicken broth, not too salty; toothsome thin noodles; pork that’s cut just right, not too fatty and thick but more than a deli slice; bamboo shoots that are boiled not pickelled; a perfectly cooked egg. Grated ginger and garlic on the counter. Friendly service (one of the guys retrieved 100 yen which in my anticipation I had left in the machine.) Nice soundtrack, some kind of Japanese pop, unfamiliar and appealing. Retro swivel counter seats.

On the first floor of a not-new complex with three floors of maybe 16-18 restaurants, some tiny, such an alluring warren of spots (some of which are also very good I’m sure) but also kind of forbidding to the western non-Japanese speaker. 900 yen, even after annual cost-of-living adjustment, so this is very good cost performance.

Great local ramen shop. I've been here many times. Sadly, my pork was mostly gristle this most recent visit. Normally it is consistently delicious.
