Very unique teishoku sets which uses yuba as the main ingredient. The beef yuba sushi is quite an interesting match. The beef is surprisingly good as well and the yuba only adds texture instead of flavours. On the side, the other yuba dishes are also quite delicious but my personal favourite would be the yuba pudding! It was super good!

The queue tends to get quite long but we were lucky that there was no one queuing when we arrive. There are not much good dining options near the Tobu Nikko station so this is a good place to get legit food.

We waited for more than 30mins to get in even though quite a few groups of diners have paid up and left. It seems to be understaffed so it took a while for the tables to be cleared and cleaned, but it was well worth the wait to experience a full Nikko Yuba meal.

The Yubamaki set and Shabu-Shabu Gozen comes with a good variety of Yuba based ingradients, with highlights being the Yubamaki wrapped with Tochigi Wagyu beef and wasabi and raw Yuba that came with the Shabu-Shabu set. The Yuba are smooth like silk including the dessert which can easily be mistaken as Chawanmushi but they are not!

It is a must try Yuba meal in Nikko!

Japanese Yuba at its finest. Unique experience of all the six senses. Taste is clean and distinct. Pleasant Harmony of flavours. Service crews pay special attention to Non-Japanese speaking customer like myself to ensure all aspects of food served are well Understood. Nice Ambience. Strongly Recommended! Revisit for sure if in Nikko again!

Got the yuba sushi roll set. It came with the yuba rolls, a small bowl of miso soup, a soy dessert, a steamed snail, some vegetables dishes, and something similar to a chawanmushi. I wished the yuba rolls were a little bigger or more rolls. It was pricey. They have an English menu. The staff was great. Food came out quick.

Went on a weekday, lunchtime. It is cosy and quiet. The beef yubamaki is delicious. My favorite side dish is the Yuba with shrimp. The dessert is great too. It’s a must try when you’re visiting Nikko.
