Had the donut from the outside shop for ¥80. It was fresh, hot and soft. This are the exact traits I look for in a donut. It isn’t like glazed with frosting or overly sweet, which was great.

Mini okara donuts 😍 Tofu degustation was also interesting, but not enough quantity for lunch. The price is correct for the quantity though. I recommend this place to try different kinds of home made tofu. Okara donuts are made of soy beans remaining after tofu processing. So good!

My partner and I were looking for a place to eat lunch and stumbled upon this little tofu restaurant. There is very limited seating, a small set menu, and the service was good.

This may have been the best meal that we had on the trip. The pork soup set option was so interesting, like a hot jelly consistency and very yummy. If you’re not a tofu fanatic, I would choose this option. If you want to sample all the tofu’s, choose the tofu set.

The restaurant also sells donuts from the front and I highly recommend trying those out. They were hot and lightly sweet, but the flavor was so good.

10/10 would recommend and I would make the trip back to Kawagoe just to eat here.

if you love tofu, you will love this place! we ordered the oboro tofu rice - tofu and seaweed in this thick-ish broth, very tasty. also got the assorted tofu seat and tried different flavours of tofu + soy milk. both were served with hot soup which was so hearty and flavourful. perfect for a rainy day!

A tiny shop, a simple meal of Cottony Tofu with Veg + Pork soup at Omiya Chobei - simple ingredients but very tasty. Highly recommended.
