First visit to the Italian restaurant I wanted to go to in [Nishi-Ogikubo] 🇮🇹

I was confused because there were so many attractive menus💦
    Tuna and avocado tartare
    Seafood Aglio Olio Scoliella
    Gorgonzola cream sauce gnocchi
Charcoal-grilled duck breast served with red wine risotto
Everything is delicious and very satisfying!
It was especially delicious with the pasta and sauce ☺️
It was also a nice service to be able to serve it separately.

It's great to have lunch while snacking on french fries♪
Next time I would like to go at night ⭐️

*The following is basic information about the store, so even if it overlaps with the first visit, it is reposted.

With Tatsushi Matsubara, former head chef of Trattoria Ciccio, a popular restaurant in Kichijoji.

Kensaku Matsubara, former sommelier and manager of Bistro Hatch,

A popular Italian restaurant run by brothers.

    Ordered a la carte.

Drinks start from 850 yen for beer.

Glasses of wine start at 850 yen, bottles start at 4,800 yen.

A small and cozy shop near Nishi-Ogikubo Station.

It has an L-shaped counter and three tables with bench seats.

Kensaku Matsubara The sommelier's attentiveness and attentiveness are wonderful.

An Italian restaurant located about 2 minutes walk from the south exit of Nishi-Ogikubo.
I made a reservation on a holiday night.

The seats weren't fully booked, probably because it was early, so depending on the time, it might be possible to just walk in.

A variety of carefully selected menu items are available a la carte.
The font on the menu is cute.

Since it was our second restaurant, the portions were a bit modest.
Fresh onion mousse, mullet and turnip, jumbo mushroom impanato, cacio e pepe, chocolate pudding
    I received it.

Impanato is a dish that is breaded and baked rather than fried.
The mushrooms are huge! The mushrooms were grilled to a crispy texture and were quite juicy and delicious.

The cacio e pepe made with Tonnarelli was also rich but not overwhelming and delicious.

The staff was very friendly and kind, and offered a variety of wines to suit our tastes and dishes.

It was a casual Italian restaurant that would be good for either the second restaurant when you want to eat something a little more substantial, or the first restaurant for a hearty meal.

Kichijoji's famous restaurants `Bistro Hatch'' and `Trattoria Ciccio''
I went there because I heard that two people from my hometown had opened a shop in Nishi-Ogikubo (last year).
The two men looked exactly alike, and it was no surprise that they were brothers.

There is a counter and tables inside the store, but there is plenty of space for each person and it is comfortable. I thought there was some stylish jazz playing, but it turned out to be Southern All Stars cover jazz.
I thought it was humorous and interesting.

The first thing I received was new onion mousse
It's very creamy and melts in your mouth, giving you the flavor of fresh onions.
It's delicious as is, but you can add a little accent with the salt and pepper that comes with it.

The second dish is Seppolini with butterbur and sea lettuce
The very fresh scent of butterbur and the aosa go well together.
I want to replace it with a spring-like dish.

Third dish: “Kumamoto Japanese Black Beef (Rump) Tagliata”
It was the most delicious meat dish I've had in years, thick and carefully cooked.
It had no odor and was soft and delicious with the balsamic vinegar.

The recommended wine to go with it is also delicious and even when you look at the wine list.
With such a wide selection of products, you'll want to come back again and again.
Also, the beer is “Satsuporo no Sorachi”
It is very rare to have draft beer.
It's a beer with a bit of ale, but it was perfect for today's dish.

The atmosphere of the restaurant's live performance is pleasant, and there is no compromise in the food or drinks.
It's been a long time since I found a nice new restaurant.

This is about a 3 minute walk from Nishi-Ogikubo Station.

    my favorite.

You can also rent it out if you make a reservation in advance.

I love it so much that I even rented it out for a family member in the past.

The menu uses plenty of seasonal ingredients, and the selection of wines that go well with the dishes is exquisite.

I don't go there because it's cheap or I like it because it's good value for money.

If you get into the swamp of brothers who are in business, you'll understand why it's written this way.

If you are interested, please give it a try.
    Super my favorite.

    Thank you for the meal!
    I'll visit you again.
