Great little izakaya! There is no English or picture menu but the owners were lovely and extremely accommodating given our complete lack of comprehension. We ordered mostly by pointing at what other people were eating and at photos on Google. They were so good natured and even gave us a free little snack. Food was delicious - must order the grilled fish and the grilled squid!

Hokkaido gourmet and sightseeing to commemorate the national victory.
First, we went to Hakodate and ate a seafood bowl at Hakodate Morning Market, bought souvenirs at Goryokaku Tower, Hakodate City Tropical Botanical Garden, Mt. Hakodate, Hachimanzaka, and Hakodate Seafood Market Main Branch, ate soft serve ice cream at Kanamori Red Brick Warehouse, and visited for dinner.
The restaurant I've always wanted to visit, and my favorite draft beer to go with it, are live squid sashimi, mackerel sashimi, overnight dried mackerel mackerel, grilled kelp, and grilled potatoes.
Oh my, it tastes too good.
Live squid sashimi is so delicious.
Finished with mackerel sashimi.
I dried the mackerel overnight and ate it in the morning, but it was delicious.
Grilled konbu is seriously delicious.
Grilled potatoes are already an excellent main dish.
I drank a lot of Hakodate's sake and it was great.
Everything was delicious.
It was a feast.

I found this restaurant while looking for dinner and was wandering around Daimon Yokocho, thinking I might check it out.
The result was very accurate, the food was delicious, and the conversation was fun, so I visited them two days in a row.
Also, when you go to Hakodate, this is a shop you should definitely visit.

There is a clear difference in the way they treat regular customers and first-time customers. I can't help it though. But the mackerel is delicious! Filefish sashimi is delicious! Squid sashimi is delicious! We also have a selection of recommended sake.
P.S.: Second visit on September 2nd. We became a little better friends! It's home-cooked food so it's delicious! Upload a picture of the landlady (with permission). The menu changes slightly, which is great!
