Ryushoken Review Summary

An established place with this as the main location / original store. They have two more locations in Minato City. Food is good with staff also conversant in mandarin. Pretty busy place popular with locals. I came at the recommendation of a Tokyo resident of over 30 years.

A fine place to have a lunch. I ordered fried shrimp and egg, which came with a set of rice, miso, salad and a sweet almond desert. I know there are better places around, but there's usually big queues on lunch, and this place didn't seem very popular, yet it's nice, especially for the price. My meal costed only 900 yen, and I couldn't even finish it.

The waiter very friendly and helpful. it is very nice to have dinner at there. very delicious. besides that, when I going back. it was raining heavy. I didn't bring along umbrella. The restaurant owner borrow me an umbrella. it is unforgettable memories... appreciate it. 人间有情。。。

Top Tip: Bring cash. They don't accept cards.

I had an OK meal here. The portions were good (perhaps too large), but the staff were too keen to get me out the door it seemed - fussing with the table and standing nearby.

English isn't there strong point, but I manged to order and pay just fine.

If you're a tourist and after some Chinese, then it's not a bad option. Just spend longer looking at the menu and ask for an explanation (I ordered 'sticky rice' and got pretty much a vegetable meal with rice).
