We had the most incredible meal and experience at Sushi Y, it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The chef prepares everything to absolute perfection and it's obvious he takes so much pride and care in his craft. He explained everything to us and we had a great laugh with him and the other guests also. We got to try so many different types of sushi, it was just sublime! The service was amazing, we will definitely be back!!

Chef Wada and his team completely exceeded every expectation that I had of the meal! Chef Wada broke the ice and made everyone comfortable with the atmosphere, all while creating some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. I had a great time exchanging stories, laughing, and savoring every bite! I wish I had asked for every employees’ names to thank them as well, but our plates were always cleared and cleaned immediately and I was never without a drink. The final dessert of sea salt ice cream and monaka look like sparkling gold and was a perfect way to end the meal and my last dinner in Japan.
I can’t wait to visit again in the future, both for the food then for the wonderful personality of Chef Wada!
