You will not find better tempura than this! Super nice ladies working here and the chef is a tempura wizard. 🪄🧙‍♂
I suggest the Ten Don set. The shrimp is incredible and they somehow fry an egg so it's crispy on the outside but still runny on the inside.
Tables upstairs, counter service downstairs.
There will be a line but it goes fast.
They provide cold mugi cha and hot tea at the table for free.
Next time I'm getting the Ebi Don.
Oh, it's a generous serving so bring your appetite!

Crisp tempura, fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly with no heavy oily aftertaste. Great service, friendly. Cash only and thank you for the sign regarding strong perfume, which can ruin a meal!

Expect long que. Waited an hour on Saturday's lunch.

I, myself personally don't really get into tempura.
HOWEVER, this shop has blown my mind. Never tasted so good.
It is not greasy. The sauce is not heavy. The rice is shiny N fluffy.

Very quaint and cozy tendon restaurant where they only prepare a limited amount for the day. Lucky for us were the second to the last party to get in that day!

The special of the day was Ebi Tempura which came with four large pieces of shrimp, sweet pepper, carrot, tomato, and eggplant. The tare drizzled over the dish was slightly sweet, but helped bring out the flavor of the tempura which had soaked up the flavors of everything else in the fryer!

all the tempura was crispy and fried right, and the volume was just overwhelming. 1500-1700yen can be a bit costly for one meal but for this I would gladly pay.
