Tengenji Ono Review Summary

Was invited to dinner here so not sure of the exact costs - tried to look at the menu online but hasn't been updated since 2013.... Came on a Friday night and we had the counter to ourselves.
Overall the food was good but feel the chef lacked the persona to make it an enjoyable evening.
He ended up chatting near the end but would have been great if he explained in more detail his food creations.

I have visited this restaurant many times in the past, but this time I also used it as a place to meet both families.
(Since it was a celebration, I was happy to receive a towel with a red and white crane embroidered on it!)

With an exceptional omakase course! When I asked, they served me a wonderful course that included plenty of seasonal ingredients. (The photo is part of the course meal)

Everything was delicious, and both parents were very happy, saying, ``This is the first time I've had such delicious Japanese food!'' I'm very happy that we had such a wonderful party ^^

The general also talked to me about various things while observing the situation, and both parents, who were a little nervous at first, got to talk about various things, which I am very grateful for.

So it's not impossible to walk from Ebisu, Shirokane-Takanawa, or Shirokanedai.

I was told that groups of 4 or more can reserve the counter for themselves, so I made a reservation for a group of 5 people.

We have a variety of Japanese sake, wine, and shochu, so you can enjoy it with your favorite drink.

Since it's September, I was happy to see so many fall flavors running around.
The swordfish stick sushi was really delicious.
Also, this year's matsutake mushrooms are steamed in a clay pot.
The sweetfish are also large, which is unique to this time of year.

At the end, the yuba sea urchin rice and some light noodles came out.

It's not flashy, but you can enjoy delicious Japanese food at a reasonable price, and it's great that you can reserve the space for yourself.

Even the general with flashy hair seemed to be honest.

It has a very delicate taste made with plenty of seasonal ingredients. I'm satisfied with the speed and quantity of the food, and I can leave all the cooking to me and concentrate on the conversation without having to think about anything else. Everyone I took there was very satisfied.
