I visited this restaurant to experience Kaiseki with 2 of my friends with no prior experience of eating Kaiseki, to try for the first time. We all enjoyed it thoroughly as the food was good. The master tried his best to describe the dish in simple english as that was my request. The price point is good enough considering it's Ginza. The highlight for me was the Sesame Tofu which was absolutely decadent, chewy texture of the tofu with the sauce compliments well. Their sea bream with rice was good too, which you can ask for a refill for dinner time. Overall, good place to dine and try out. 美味し食事ありがとうございます。

Good value for good kaiseki courses in Ginza. The chief is very friendly and accommodating for international travelers. Me and my family had a wonderful experience.

Tokuuchiyama is located in a quiet back alley in Higashi Ginza, one step away from the hustle and bustle of Ginza.
When you open the wooden sliding door, the elegant scent of incense wafts through the air, opening you up to a sophisticated Japanese space. The restaurant has counter seats, table seats, and private rooms, so you can enjoy your meal in a calm atmosphere.
This time I received the 6,600 yen course.
Each dish is served on a beautiful plate, each item is carefully made, the taste is exquisite, and the meal itself is worth more than the price.
The famous grilled sesame tofu has a fragrant surface that melts the moment you put it in your mouth, giving off a rich sesame aroma.
The accent of wasabi on the side is exquisite, making it a masterpiece that gives you a sense of the depth of Japanese cuisine.
Another specialty, the sea bream chazuke, is filled with plenty of sea bream fillets and goes perfectly with the rich sesame sauce and freshly cooked rice. You can enjoy three different flavors by first dipping it in sesame sauce and eating it as is, then by putting it on rice, and finally by pouring tea over it.

The service is attentive, and the staff's attentiveness makes you feel comfortable, ensuring you have a special time.
If you want to enjoy Japanese food in Ginza, this is a famous restaurant that you should definitely visit.
