Amazing udon and incredibly fresh ingredients.
The wheat that they use is top quality. The noodles taste amazing and have nice texture. They are not as firm and bouncy as the standard white udon noodles but, I think the quality is better at this shop.
I ordered the 舞茸うどん (maitake udon). I think it might be one of their best items! The Yōtei udon bowl with lots of toppings also looked good, get that if you’re very hungry!

I wanted to keep this place a secret, but I think it deserves to be visited by others too. This place serves handmade udon in a cute little house. You can also take amazing pictures of Mount Yotei from right outside the restaurant.
The udon was very nice and chewy. I highly recommend getting the plain cold udon, and just add sides like tempura.
We had to wait around 15 minutes for our table, but it was well worth it. One of our best meals in Hokkaido.

We were driving from niseko towards Sapporo and passed by a Udon signage. Our son loves Udon and it was lunch time so we decided to check it out not knowing that it was a very popular Udon shop. They make all their Udon fresh in the restaurant and the texture of the udon has this nice al dente springy bite to it. We went for the cold version with tempura where majority of the Japanese went for the hot broth version which I think it's a thing during winter. Definitely worth dropping by.

A hidden gem on the way from Saporro to Niseko. Possibly the best tasting udon we’ve ever had!
