Wagyu Yakiniku Kurogo Ikebukuro-east Review Summary

Our last chance to have Wagyu before leaving Japan and this place did not disappoint. First they have an extensive menu with many items at a reasonable price AND an English menu. Second the service was excellent. The staff was very polite and helpful and did all the cooking of the meat for us. Third, we ordered some simple items to get started but things took a turn for the incredible when we asked for recommendations. Waitress recommended two popular items and we ordered one of them. Waiter came with the order and proceeded to grill the meat. After it was done he took it away to rest and slice then brought it back. And oh my it was so good I had to order again. All of us in our party had agreed it was probably the best wagyu we have had.

one of my favourite restaurant in Ikebukuro. Just make sure you make a reservation. All their beef was amazing. you just need to order, someone will bring it up and cook in front of you.

Great beef, top service, reasonable prices. A must visit! Could have more side dishes/ other food available but the meat makes up for it.
