Came with an old friend who is a regular here - and raved about the food & drinks.
Honestly, was not 100% sure what to expect given the fact that it was in the basement of a very plain building.
But once we started the dishes, I was amazed.
Amazed at the quality, taste, and care the 2 chefs put into each of the dishes.
Our friend being a sake sommelier told us to trust the chefs and do omakases on the Sake picks. All of the sakes we had were amazing. Our fav was the M Special Edition - really had a interesting taste.
The other locals eating there seem to all know the own and were super friendly.
I think do plan a visit if you can but 100% go with someone that can speak Japanese to make the visit more memorable

Good Izakaya and very good food. Portions are also quite good. Place a bit difficult to find as its one floor below. Overall recommended!

Always had great food here. The drinks are good and for wine lovers, this is one of the affordable Japanese restaurants that will serve you wine in the proper wine glasses for the wine you drink. The chef is amicable and unpretentious. Highly recommended.

Visited for the first time in a while. The seasonal dishes made me feel warm... ^_^ We had a fun and happy time choosing the alcoholic beverages that went well with the dishes. The meal ends with rice cooked in a clay pot, but you can ask for the quantity. I usually eat carbohydrates...

Translated from Japanese:

Here at ``Wasokusho Ta'', we use seasonal ingredients in French cooking techniques (the owner has a background in French cuisine) to create exquisite, creative Japanese dishes! I came across this creative Japanese restaurant this year, but it has become my favorite and I will be returning next year...

Translated from Japanese:

It's been a while since we celebrated. A variety of wonderful dishes and pleasant conversations by a talented chef with a French background. Of course, we recommend pairing the alcohol with the food. This time, I basically ordered sake. Sake I've never tried before and the season...
