Yakiniku Kintan Akasaka Review Summary

We were a party of 6 so we got a private room. It was cozy and quiet, good place to catch up with friends.

Service was good. We got a remote to ask for help whenever we need.

Food was really good. Meat was good quality. I’m a big fan of the yuke (raw beef appetizer), beef sushi and karubi beef. Special shout-out to the sushi platter. It was delish! I highly recommend.

We opted for a la carte menu because we weren’t too hungry. It was a good choice and we got to pick all the meat we loved.

As for the price, it wasn’t expensive for the beef that we ordered. Quite happy with everything.

The food was amazing, especially beef sashimi and the main dish with beef and egg york & rice. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful in the way that he explained every dish to us in English to ensure we use the best way to savor our food. However, the place was a bit loud when the next table had a big group of gathering party. Overall, highly recommended!

We ordered the supreme set. My favorite was the sirloin yukhoe. It’s tender and crunch with the peanuts. My one star is for this dish. What I’m so disappointed with is how slow the dishes were served. The restaurant was only half full. For those raw meat dishes, it took 20+ min separately for each to be served. I genuinely cannot understand why it’s sooo slow. It’s already 2 hours and we haven’t finished the meal…. The waiters are not responsive either. The whole experience is a hard no.

They have very a luxury interior space. It’s very stylish, clean and comfortable. It is very good to use for date or celebrating anniversaries with your important people. Their food and drink are amazing. Especially, their beef sushi and steak tartare make this restaurant special. You must try them.

Food is delicious, service is great, place has a great vibe. I spent $23 US on two lunch specials. Amazing deal and anyone who leaves a one star is just wrong.
